⁠⁠⁠Federation University Australia is seeking expressions of interest from interested parties who can assist the University in assessing and quantifying the current level of investment risk appetite held by the University and developing an investment risk appetite assessment framework to aid the University in making future investment decisions. Existing relationships

The applicants will be required to work with existing external Investment Managers.

Scope of delivery

The University would expect that the successful applicant would:

Codify and articulate the risk profile/appetite of the University

Determine the investment goals of the university

Determine tolerance levels for acceptance of:
* Default risk, the risk that an institution will fall
* Inflation risk, the risk investment funds will not keep up with rising prices
* Volatility risk, the risk that comes with the capital value of an investment fluctuating up and down.
* Interest rate risk, the risk that better returns could have been earned elsewhere

Determine the time scales under which the University would move to a proposed investment framework.

Federation University Australia will evaluate the Expression of Interest application received and will then invite the shortlisted applicants to enter into further negiotations. Any negiotations with applicants will be subject to the University's terms and conditions of trade. As previously comfirmed at the commenment of this submission.

Mandatory criteria

Mandatory response is considered essential and that you must, at a minimum, meet. Failure to either provide a response to mandatory criterion means that your response to the question will be deemed as non-conforming. That question only will be scored at a zero. The supplier will still be considered in this tender.
