Tender Description
Recent dam safety inspections for Paluma Dam have identified that the spillway steel weir has deteriorated to extent that intervention is required to prevent deterioration progression.
The works will consist of:
Spillway Area:
* Care and Diversion of Water (if required);
* Steel spillway removal and replacement (additional 150 mm height);
Management Activities and Other:
* Site establishment and disestablishment;
* Preparation of management documents such as programs and plans, etc;
* Environmental protection specific to the site which is in the Wet Tropics area;
* Final Clean-up of site;
* Any other requirements specified in the contract document and drawings.
