Expressions of Interest La Trobe University is seeking Expressions of Interest from relevant Aboriginal groups or individuals who wish to be consulted in relation to a proposed Section 90 Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit (AHIP) under Part 6 of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974.
La Trobe University intends to apply for a Section 90 AHIP to authorise an archaeological and geological research project being undertaken at select locations within Mungo National Park, which lies within the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area.
Any group or person, who hold cultural knowledge, as required by the OEH consultation guidelines, should register in writing, providing their name, address, phone number and information on their connection to the area.
Submissions should be registered with Nicola Stern, Archaeology Program, La Trobe University, Bundoora, Victoria 3086, (03 9479 2429) providing the information requested above.
The closing date is August 16, 2018.
