All Abilities Playground Design Project at Ross Reserve Noble Park

⁠⁠⁠The City of Greater Dandenong is seeking to engage a team of experienced landscape architects and sub consultants to design and document a new all abilities district playground within Ross Reserve, Noble Park.

The design will be required to deliver a playground and supporting infrastructure that cater for children, youth and adults of all ages and abilities to have fun and participate in challenging play with their friends and family.

The location of the proposed playground is adjacent to the Noble Park Community Centre and NPAC, which both provide programs that cater for people with disabilities.

The scope of works is to undertake the following:
1. Prepare a background discussion paper that identifies premier all abilities playgrounds (Australia and overseas examples) as case studies to guide the draft ideas.
2. Prepare a community engagement strategy
3. Community engagement – preliminary design ideas exemplar boards.
4. Prepare a draft concept design options. 
5. Community engagement – draft concept design options
6. Finalise concept design from community engagement outcomes
7. Design development and opinion of probable cost
8. Contract documentation.
