Tender Description
Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) is seeking tenders from suitably experienced contractors for Tender No. T047/2018, Construction of Cycling and Athletics Facilities.
This is a Construct Only contract with three separable portions:
Separable Portion 1: Cycling Centre including Velodrome and Criterium Track;
Separable Portion 2: Athletics Facility including synthetic surfaces to running track and field events areas;
Separable Portion 3: Buildings, carpark, landscaping, power, lighting and associated infrastructure.
In addition, the Works include general site items applicable to all Separable Portions including:
* Bulk earthworks;
* Stormwater drainage including pits and pipework;
* Detailed excavation and final trim;
* Supply and install in-ground services;
* Pavement construction;
* Permanent site fencing; and
* Irrigation and landscaping.
It is a Quality Assurance Contract with method of payment being Firm Lump Sum not subject to Rise and Fall.
Tenderers must attend the compulsory pre-tender briefing meeting and site visit in order to submit a conforming tender.
The briefing meeting and site inspection will be held at 437 Peel Street Tamworth at 11.00am - 1.00pm AEST Wednesday 25 July 2018.
Tenders close at 11:00am AEST, Thursday 9 August 2018.
Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender and any Tenderer who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an elected member or servant of the Council will be disqualified.
