The University of Adelaide invites you to participate in an Expression of Interest for the provision of Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) Contractor Services to the University in accordance with the rules and requirements set out in this Expression of Interest.

The University of Adelaide is committed to achieving carbon neutrality across its campuses as detailed within the University Campus Sustainability Plan 2016 - 2020.

The University is seeking suitable Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contractor(s) to design and install the following turnkey solutions at its Roseworthy campus:
(i) 1.2MW ground mounted solar power system;
(ii) 500kW, 2000kWh flow battery;
(iii) HV works to connect embedded generation and storage into the existing campus network;
(iv) Microgrid controller to integrate the generation and storage with other campus assets.

The University is seeking to create a microgrid at its Roseworthy campus to help manage peak demand, participate in emerging energy markets and improve the energy security and power quality to the connected built assets.

The University has engaged a Principal Consultant and Cost Manager directly to liaise and co-operate with the successful EPC Contractor(s).

The EPC Contractor(s) will be sub-contracted to the University's Project Manager, Sarah Constructions.
The Works will be tendered in two separate packages:
(i) Package 1: Solar power system and HV works
(ii) Package 2: Flow battery and Microgrid controller

EPC contractors may respond to one or both packages.
