Request for Quotation - Internal Audit Services

⁠⁠⁠Rous is a County Council constituted under the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW) located in the Northern Rivers area of NSW and provides three key functions:
* Bulk water supply
* Flood mitigation
* Weed biosecurity

Council is seeking quotations (lump sum) for the provision of internal audit services for a 4-year engagement (2018-2021) including:
* development of an internal audit strategy informed by Council's risk register.
* one onsite internal audit per financial year for three years only (Y1, Y2 and Y4).
* prepare progress reports on completion of review actions to each Risk and Audit Committee meeting and be available to attend either in person or teleconference (4 times per year).
* liaise with Audit Office of NSW (or appointed audit contractor) from time to time as required.

Options for additional audits and services, as required, are also sought.

Please also note:
* A response to this RFQ is not a guarantee of work. Council reserves the right to reject any or all quotations.
* Responses must address all criteria, and all documentation (e.g. schedules) must be current and complete.
* This is request for a LUMP SUM quotation. The rates and amounts listed will be used as a basis for progress payments and for valuing variations.
* Under no circumstances is Council liable for any cost, expense, or loss incurred in the preparation and lodgement of an RFQ.
* Respondents should notify the 'Contact officer' in writing prior to the closing date and time if they find any discrepancy, error, or omission in the RFQ.
