Request for Tender - Preston Beach Community Centre

⁠⁠⁠The Shire of Waroona (the Principal) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified, experienced and licenced Commercial Building Construction Contractor to undertake the redevelopment by constructing a new community building on Lot 14 Panorama Drive, Preston Beach, Waroona, WA.

The works will consist of single storey construction of approximately 186m2 of enclosed area with approximately another 104m2 covered by a verandah and entrance porch. The Principal has appointed MCG Architects Pty Ltd, to oversee the construction of the new Preston Beach Community Centre.

The Deadline for this Request is 25 July 2018, at 3pm (AWST). The Tender is to be:
* Placed in a sealed envelope clearly endorsed with the tender number and title as shown on the front cover of this Request; and
* Delivered by hand and placed in the Tender Box at 52 Hesse Street Waroona (by the Tenderer or the Tenderer’s private agent) or sent through the mail to the Chief Executive Officer PO Box 20 Waroona, WA 6215. Tenderers are responsible to ensure there is sufficient time from posting to be received by the Principal and placed in the tender box prior to the Deadline. Electronic mail Tenders and Tenders submitted by Facsimile will not be accepted.

Note:
* The proposed Contract shall only proceed on the provision that Council approve the appointment of the successful tenderer; thus the Principal reserves the right to proceed (or not) under the proposed Contract.
* Tenderers are advised not to modify the layout of this RFT or submit an alternative format as this shall result in being deemed non-compliant.
