The Department of Economic Development, Jobs ,Trnasport & Resources is now seeking the services of a facilities management provider which has experience in managing public assets to manage the general maintenance of Proinces Pier Port Melbourne.
The department will retain responsibility for:
* Management of the lease of the Gatehouse and use of the pier by community or other organisations, and
* Asset replacement works for the pier piles, the forest of piles and other capital, structural and lifecycle works.
We are seeking a Facilities Management provider to manage the following services to maintain the pier.
* Hydraulic inspection and maintenance
* Electrical maintenance
* Security services
* Cleaning and waste management (including general repairs)
* Service of the heritage cast iron gates
* Artificial turf maintenance
* Landscaping and gardening.
