Tender Description
Byron Shire Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced parties to provide the following minor civil works:
* Minor repairs of sealed roads
* Concrete works
* Water and sewer repairs
* Various works relating to sewer and water treatment plants including:
* Valve pit lid installations
* Staircase handrail installations and repairs
* Process equipment inspections
* Repairs to water booster pump stations and sewer pump stations
* Installations and repairs of pumps, motors, compressors and blowers
* Reservoir infrastructure repairs
* Flail mowing
Works will be undertaken at various Council-owned sites in the Byron Shire.
It is intended that a panel of contractors will be appointed. Proponents may tender for one or more of the above work categories.
The contract term will be two years with three extension options of 12 months each.
It is anticipated that the contract will start in September 2018.
