Mackay Regional Council is currently undertaking a drainage study in Sarina to assess the capacity and impacts of existing drainage infrastructure.
As part of the study, floor levels at properties around Sarina need to be measured to aid in examination of the flooding impacts on existing buildings.
Residents are advised that surveyors from Veris will be in Sarina from Monday, June 11 taking measurements at 120 properties in Sarina. Most measurements will be made from the road, but where vegetation or high fences hide the front of properties from the road, the surveyors may need to enter the front yard to take their measurements.
