Design and Construction of Armadale Road to North Lake Bridge Project

⁠⁠⁠Brief Description of Works: Construction of a four lane dual carriageway between Armadale Road and North Lake Road including a bridge over Kwinana Freeway and either:
Option A: an elevated roadway with grade separated roundabouts; or
Option B: a combination of an elevated roadway over the Armadale Road/Tapper Road roundabout and an underpass trench structure ("duck and dive") under the Armadale Road/Solomon Road roundabout.

Pre-qualification Required: Roadworks R5, Bridgeworks B4 and a financial rating of F150+

The Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 (Building Code) applies to the building work associated with this project. By submitting an expression of interest in, or tender for, this project, you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016. Refer to the Building Code at employment.gov.au/building-code for further information.

It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2016, at the time of the RFP closing for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.

Tenderers intending to submit a bid as a Joint Venture must review the additional requirements as outlined by Section 26(1)(f) of the Fair Work (Building Industry - Accreditation Scheme) Regulation 2016 by the Federal Safety Commission (located at http://www.fsc.gov.au).
