The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee Inc (hereafter referred to as GORCC) manages and maintains over 37 kms of foreshore between the Cumberland River at Lorne and Point Impossible at Breamlea. The environment ranges from tracts of sweeping sand dunes and limestone cliffs to swimming beaches lined with Norfolk Pines.

GORCC's primary objective is to facilitate works which maintain, preserve and enhance the coastal environment and foreshore areas.

The objective of this Specification is to ensure the designated works are undertaken in a competent and professional manner.
