Registration of Interest - Market Sounding for Railway Station Works

⁠⁠⁠Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is committed to improving public transport services and providing a world-class transport system people want to use. This includes delivering modern, safe and accessible transport infrastructure across Sydney Trains, Intercity and NSW TrainLink networks.

Transport is integral to all economic and social activity in NSW and contributes to long term economic, social and environmental outcomes. Delivering railway station improvements helps improve customer experience and increases social inclusion.

TfNSW will be conducting a market sounding for the purposes of understanding market conditions and informing current delivery and procurement strategies. This process will include a market sounding briefing where TfNSW will present an overview of the railway station works and the current delivery strategy. It is anticiapted that the market sounding briefing will be held in late June 2018 at a location within the Sydney metropolitan area. Further details on the market sounding briefing will be provided to eligible Registrants.

This Market Sounding is an opportunity for TfNSW to work collaboratively with the industry (i.e. Tiers 1 to 3) to ensure we optimise future procurement and contracting forms to realise innovative solutions across our diverse rail networks.

The market sounding will be a discussion with selected registrants to gather market intelligence in relation to market capacity and interest in delivering a multi-disciplinary program of railway station works. Feedback on packaging and contracting components of the delivery strategy will inform subsequent Requests for Tender.

To be considered for the market sounding, Participants must complete and submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) document.

Based upon the information provided in the ROI, TfNSW will assess submissions and invite selected companies to the Market Sounding. Unsuccessful registrants will in no way be precluded from future procurement activities.
