Tender Description
The following Councils require the services of a consultant to manage aspects of Utilities (gas, water and electricity) within their Council.
Boorandara City Counci
Knox City Council
Manningham Council
Melton City Council
Moonee Valley Council
Nillumbik Shire Council
Whitehorse City Council
Hobson Bay City Council
Banyule City Council
Kingston City Council
Glen Eira City Council
These Councils have recognized the cost benefit and process improvement possibilities from having a centralized and specialized external resource manage aspects of their Utilities function.
Councils require a consultant to be embedded within Council who will undertake the following tasks:
* Checking utility invoices for accuracy.
* Ensuring Council is only paying meters under Council control.
* Ensuring Council centralized utilities database is kept up to date.
* Assist in cost collection from Utility retailers and distributors.
* Assist in cost collection from Council tenants.
* Maintain Utility procedures.
* Manage all internal and external utility stakeholders.
