The vessel ‘Old Rowley’ is currently stored on a hard stand at the DoT Boating Facility, Jervoise Bay Cove, Woodman Point Recreation Reserve, Munster, Western Australia.
‘Old Rowley’ was grounded on the foreshore at Mosman Bay in the Swan River and, pursuant to section 71 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982 (WAMA), was removed and transported to Woodman Point by salvage contractors engaged by the Department of Transport (DoT).
The Item is being sold pursuant to section 71(3) of the WAMA. The DoT is seeking offers for the purchase and removal of this vessel as described below. This vessel is considered to be in poor condition, in its current state.
