Waverley Council invites tenders for the carrying out of Inspection, testing, preventive maintenance and survey of Essential Services for a period of three years; plus two year; plus two year option in accordance with this request for tender.
Waverley Council has a large built portfolio comprising community properties, leased commercial properties, administrative offices, works depot, surf lifesaving clubhouses, community residential, central library, community halls, car parks both open and multi story, leased industrial properties, sports grandstands etc.
Council intends to appoint one Fire Safety Service Provider to fulfill the complete Requirement, however council has no obligation to accept any Tender. Council intends to appoint one company with demonstrated capacity, previous experience, financial and technical capability for providing the required services as a sole preferred supplier. A commitment to Work Health & Safety, sustainability and environmentally sound principles are a must.
The supplier will be responsible for the following:
* To provide systematic maintenance for the listed essential services to manufacturer's instructions or the relevant Australian standards and the designed standard of performance;
* To provide evidence in the form of records and reports of completion of the periodic inspection (including survey), testing and preventative maintenance activities required by AS1851 _ 2012;
* Annual certification of all essential services to both performance and maintenance standards; and
* For management of the annual fire safety statement (AFSS) in its entirety including systems integrated testing (SIT) with other services associated with the essential services and provides agent sign off.
