Claims Management Consultant

⁠⁠⁠The Queensland Building and Construction Commission has issued this Invitation to Offer to select a sole provider, or establish an outsource panel, for the provision of the following services:
* Preparing scopes of work for rectification or completion of residential construction work under the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme; and
* Quantification of claims once the scope of work is approved by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission, typically by calling tenders for the rectification or completion of defective or incomplete residential construction work from an approved panel of appropriately licensed contractors managed by the service provider.  Alternatively, when requested, claims may be quantified by a quantity surveyor, or valuer; and
* Where a claim is approved by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission based on a tender provided by a member of the service provider’s panel, arranging for the carrying out of the rectification or completion works, and monitoring and managing the repair or completion process.
