RTW Services (Supplementary Tender)

⁠⁠⁠During the 2017 State election the Government made a commitment to increase the number of suppliers on the WorkCover RTW Services panel. Additionally the new Queensland Procurement Policy which took effect on 1 September 2017, has a key emphasis of encouraging the use of local Queensland businesses. To determine where these additional suppliers can be located, whilst still maintaining a sustainable level of referrals for the current RTW Services Panel members, a demand analysis was conducted which highlighted high demand for more RTW suppliers in certain service locations. This high demand is limited to Gold Coast, Logan-Beaudesert, Ipswich, Moreton Bay-North, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast, Cairns and Central Queensland regions, across all RTW service categories.

A supplementary tender is being conducted to invite offers for these high demand regions. The final RTW Services panel will be based on a capacity review to ensure suppliers are appointed to ensure minimal delay for appointments. Suppliers will be asked to nominate their capacity to perform services and the final panel will be a based on a review of suitable suppliers, regional coverage and capacity. The number of providers appointed to the panel will be determined by WorkCover based on the quality of the offers received, sustainability of referral levels for each region and the administration and oversight of the panel required.

The RTW service categories include:
* Workplace evaluation/assessment;
* Functional capacity evaluation (FCE);
* Return to work facilitation;
* Development and monitoring of suitable duties program;
* Vocational assessment, preparation and placement services; and
* Transferrable skills assessments.

* Insurance certificates and association memberships/accreditations (PDF format).
