Shakes Road (Nairne) Drainage Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠Mount Barker District Council (the Council) invites Tenders from Tenderers for the works associated with the proposed Shakes Road (Nairne) drainage upgrade (the Services). The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.

The scope of the Services includes, but is not limited to the following:
a) Resident notification and ongoing liaison throughout construction;
b) Traffic management throughout construction;
c) Set out of works;
d) Service location and depthing as required;
e) Liaise with service authorities regarding the protection of existing services;
f) Protection of trees, light poles and existing underground services within the vicinity of the works;
g) Demolish and remove existing pavement layers and concrete kerbs as required;
h) Removal, stockpiling and reinstatement of existing block paving;
i) Demolish and remove existing stormwater drainage infrastructure such as SEPs, JBs and pipework and construct new SEPs, JBs and pipework as detailed on the drawings;
j) Trench excavation, inclusive of all necessary dewatering and ground support systems;
k) Management of groundwater including the required testing, extraction, treatment, monitoring and disposal;
l) Connection of new drainage infrastructure to existing drainage structures such as JBs and pipework as detailed on the drawings .
m) Trench backfill and pavement reinstatement as detailed on the drawings and in this specification;
n) Construct new kerb and driveway crossovers as required;
o) Backfill behind kerbs, tidy and make good;
p) Reinstatement of line marking and signage;
q) All environmental testing, management, and protection as a result of the works;
r) All testing and independent level survey as highlighted in this specification;
s) Undertake As Constructed survey and prepare As Constructed documentation.
