Mount Beauty Swimming Pool Upgrade - Stage 2

⁠⁠⁠The Alpine Shire Council is currently seeking offers from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to implement a range of upgrades at the Mount Beauty swimming pool complex. The range of upgrades includes:

Part A. –New Splash and feature pool.

Construction of a new splash and feature pool immediately adjacent to the existing toddlers pool. The works include demolition of the disused pit in the lawn area, demolition of concrete concourse as required, construction of the new splash and feature pool, supply and installation of splash features, tiling, painting, supply and installation of a new shade structure, extension of the concrete concourse and site reinstatement.

Part B – Upgrading of tiles – Main Pool, Intermediate Pool and existing Toddlers Pool.

• Main Pool –replacement of tiles and upgrade of scum gutter.
• Intermediate Pool – replacement of tiles and modification to skimmer boxes.
• Toddlers Pool – replacement of tiles.

Part C – Concourse resurfacing

The works include the removal of sunken sections, replacement with new concrete, grinding of raised edges, caulking between concourse and main and intermediate pools, painting of concrete concourse with non-slip paint on the entire concourse area.

This is a separable parts Tender. Tenderers can choose to submit either one part, two part or all three parts of the tender. Council may choose to award only one part, two parts all three parts separately.

All works must be completed by Friday 12th October, 2018 in preparation for opening of the pool for the forthcoming summer.
