Tender Description
The Department of Education and Training (Department) provides education and development services to children, young people and adults both directly through government schools and indirectly through the regulation and funding of early childhood services, non-government schools and training programs.
The Department has forecast that enrolment numbers for State schools will significantly increase over the next few years. In response to the growing demand within Victoria, the Victorian Government has funded the construction of 11 new schools to be ready for opening from the commencement of the 2020 school year. The delivery of 8 of these schools make up the New Schools 2020 Program.
The Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) is a division of the Department which oversees the design and construction of new schools and early childhood centres, as well as the modernisation and upgrade of existing ones.
