The contract involves the initial visual inspection of all pits, litter baskets and Gross Pollutant Traps (GPTs) throughout the municipality to determine whether cleaning, based on specified intervention levels, is required. When this has occurred, the recording and reporting of the location and number of pits inspected is required. As per instruction from Council, it is expected that the successful tenderer conducts the clearing of all drains where siltation or obstruction exceeds the accepted level as well as the reporting of all pits that remain blocked, non-functional or a potential flood threat including the benefits and any potential risks to the Municipality.

This is a Schedule of Rates Contract. The Contract is for three years with a possible extension of one year.
