⁠⁠⁠Development Victoria delivers property and precinct development projects to meet government’s policy objectives and apply its experience and expertise to the delivery of civic projects that enhance our state.

Development Victoria along with Regional Development Victoria (RDV), the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) and the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR) have collaborated to explore the opportunity to develop the eastern portion of the Ballarat Civic Hall precinct (the site) into a major high-quality community and commercial precinct with the capacity to accommodate 1,000 relocated and consolidated Victorian public service (VPS) staff. The multi-use development in the Northern end of Ballarat's central business district (CBD) will deliver on the Government's commitment to support economic, population and professional services growth and CBD revitalisation in Victoria's regional cities.

Development Victoria is seeking to shortlist highly capable D&C Contractors to provide the services for the works of the Ballarat GovHub project as set out in this EOI. Following the submission of Responses, bidders shortlisted by Development Victoria (DV) will be invited to respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP) after which DV will select a single bidder to undertake the services.
