Tender Description
The Queensland Government is providing the following Forward Procurement Notification (FPN) for the benefit of suppliers and subcontractors (if any) to plan for an imminent tender activity requiring a Building Contractor to complete the redevelopment fitout works for the Queensland Museum Anzac Legacy Gallery (ALG) Exhibition which is due to open to the public in November 2018.
The project outcome will be redevelopment of the space allocated for the new ALG exhibition, which in summary will incorporate (but not limited to) the following scope:
- Electrical and communication services;
- Joinery;
- Multimedia Interactive Housings;
- Partial Ceilings and bulkheads including ceiling battens and acoustic attenuation;
- Ceiling Mirrors above Mephisto;
- Minor adjustments to existing wall cladding;
- Wall buildouts including tapering wall battens and recess for built-in showcases;
- Showcases Plinth and Metal Brackets;
- Built-in seats;
- Painting; and
- Floor levelling as required, carpet installation and additional travertine flooring.
This notification will be closed out (expired) shortly upon release of the tender, anticipated to be 27 or 30 April 2018 under reference QM0652018. No further information will be available for enquiries until the tender release (if any).
