Tender for the Design & Supply of Corporate Uniform, Phillip Island Nature Parks

⁠⁠⁠Phillip Island Nature Parks (the Nature Parks) was established in 1996 and is a Committee of Management appointed by the Victorian Government. The Nature Parks is a self-funded, not for profit organisation that manages more than 1,800 hectares of Crown Land on Phillip Island, including areas with significant environmental values, such as habitat for Little Penguins, Short-tailed Shearwaters and Hooded Plovers. The Nature Parks sustains major research, conservation and education programs whilst also managing general recreational assets without ongoing funding from State or Federal governments. The Nature Parks sustains these programs and assets primarily through ecotourism.

The Nature Parks four main attractions are the world famous Penguin Parade, the Koala Conservation Centre, Churchill Island Heritage Farm and the Nobbies Centre, which receive over 1 million visitors a year.

The organisation employs between 230 and 290 employees, depending on the season, in a range of positions within tourism, environment, research, commercial, operations, construction, maintenance and administration. The skills of the workforce are diverse and employment is on a full time, part time and volunteer basis to support a 7 day week, 52 weeks per year business.

The Nature Parks is seeking a provider for the design, supply and delivery of a new corporate uniform. The proposed uniform will need to incorporate options for all staff across the organisation, including customer service, administrative, commercial, conservation and operational staff, and volunteers.

The Nature Parks is currently undergoing a process of an organisational restructure and corporate rebranding. As part of the restructure the Nature Parks is seeking a company to review our current and future uniform requirements and design a new uniform incorporating the new branding that will be suitable across the organisation.

As part of the tender the Nature Parks is also seeking a supplier who will be able to support the design and supply of the items for a period of 5-10 years.
