Tender Description
Charters Towers Regional Council are calling for tenders for the Raw Water Intake Upgrades project. The project involves upgrade works at the Charters Towers raw water intake located at the Burdekin Weir, on the Burdekin River.
The upgrade works generally involve:
* Design, fabrication and installation of a new hydraulically actuated penstock (nominally 1m x 1m)
* Hydraulic actuation conversion of existing penstocks in the raw water intake
* Design, supply and installation of a new hydraulic cabinet and hydraulic lines
* Design, fabrication and installation of self-cleaning debris deflector and louvre screen
* Concrete structural works
