Tender Description
Supply, Installation and commissioning of 5 batteries, stands and battery switch, testing of existing batteries at Vales Point Power Station.
The Vales Point Power Station is located on the southern shore of Lake Macquarie, approximately 130 km north of Sydney, New South Wales, and approximately 3 km off the Pacific Highway North of Doyalson.
The extent of the work is for
a) Supply, install, charging / discharging and commission of 3 off 110V Pasted Plate lead acid type batteries.
b) Supply, install, charging / discharging and commission of 2 off 50V Pasted Plate lead acid type batteries.
c) Capacity test the following batteries (additional to supplied batteries):
(i) 6 240V battery;
(ii) 6A 110V battery; and
(iii) 5 240V battery.
d) Repair the floor under Unit 6 50V battery.
e) Replace the following stands with new equivalent to existing metal stands:
(i) 6A 110V battery;
(ii) 5A 110V battery;
(iii) 5B 110V battery; and
(iv) 5 50V battery.
f) Remove and recycle off-site the old used cells.
g) Install battery isolating switch on 6-50V battery identical to that used on 5-50V battery.
