Notice of Supplier Tender Briefing
2108/0905 – Small & Heavy Plant, Machinery and Related Products & Services

Procurement Australia on behalf of its members, Cemetery Trusts, Local Government, Local Government Libraries, Library Corporations, Statutory Authorities, Not for Profit Organisations, Private Organisations, Tertiary Educational Institutions and Water Authorities is currently developing specifications for the above mentioned tender to be released in May 2018.

This tender is to establish panel providers to service members’ requirements nationally. The category list is as follows noting all equipment under via this tender is considered to be less than $150,000 in delivered Unit cost:

Category 1 – Small and Heavy Plant & Machinery
The following are examples of the products sought (but not limited to):
* Small Excavators
* Skid Steers
* Wheeled Loaders
* Backhoes
* Forklifts
* Scissor Lifts

Category 2 – Lawn Care and Maintenance Equipment
The following are examples of the products sought (but not limited to):
* Utility Vehicles
* Turf, Zero Turn & Ride on Mowers
* Tractors
* Slashers
* Sprayers

Category 3 – Landscaping Equipment
The following are examples of the products sought (but not limited to):
* Chainsaws
* Clearing Saws
* Brush Cutters
* Mulchers / Stump Grinders
* Blowers

Category 4 – Motorized Construction Equipment
The following are examples of the products sought (but not limited to):
* Generators
* Mini Excavator
* Front Loaders
* Small Tractors & Implements
* Augers
* Concrete Saws

This category list is still under development and may change. Respondents to the resultant tender will have the discretion to tender for any one category, any combination of categories or the total requirement.

To enable appropriate consultation of the industry on the requirements of the tender and to invite feedback, Procurement Australia is convening a Supplier Tender Briefing, the details of which are:

When: Friday 4 May 2018.
Time: 10.30am to 11.30am AEST.
