Fairfield City Council is seeking tenders from organisation(s) that have appropriate certifications, qualifications, capacity, experience and a high standard of capability who can deliver the best value for money for the Prospect Creek Floodway Stabilisation.
The section of Prospect Creek as stated in the Tender drawings is damaged and the creek floodway are widening due to heavy erosion and scouring. Currently, the creek banks not only look aesthetically unpleasing but also infrastructures are in danger of being damaged/destroyed further.
The proposed works will provide a naturally functioning creek system, introducing water sensitive urban design to utilise and manage urban stormwater runoff, re-introduction of native vegetation, flora and fauna and improve water quality
Council requires an experienced bush regeneration and rock placement contractor who has the experience and expertise in working in similar projects.
Tenderers are strongly encouraged to attend this briefing session which will cover an overview of the specifications and contract requirements. A site inspection will follow WHS site induction on the day.
