Business Analyst/User Acceptant Tester

⁠⁠⁠Australian Research Council is looking for a User experience tester/Business analyst on a contract basis for 6 months to work within their Research Excellence Branch, in a fast paced, challenging agile environment.

The positon is located in the Research Excellence Branch. The Research Excellence Branch is responsible for the delivery of the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) evaluation, and the development and implementation of a new national assessment of Engagement and Impact (EI) of university research.

ERA evaluates the quality of the research undertaken in Australian universities against national and international benchmarks. The ratings are determined and moderated by committees of distinguished researchers, drawn from Australia and overseas. The EI assessment is a new initiative announced under the National Innovation and Science Agenda.

* Prepare and execute user acceptance tests,monitor and report faults and assist users with the application system.
* Support the management of projects and business improvement by business analysis tasks including creation of high level requirements documents,user guides and flowcharts.
* Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders; including the ICT Services Branch, ARC executive and external stakeholders and being the Subject matter expert for the ICT team.
* Provide advice to stakeholders on the measurement of research quality, engagement and impact using research and analysis.
