Request for Proposal - Youth Mental Health Services in Wollondilly and Wingecarribee

⁠⁠⁠The SWSPHN is seeking to commission an innovative primary care service that provides free mental health support and enhanced connections with supplemental health services for young people aged 12-25 years in Wollondilly and Wingecarribee.

The World Health Organisation has developed a framework for adolescent friendly health services that highlights the need for services to be accessible, appropriate, effective and equitable. This was reinforced by the findings from the Wollondilly / Wingecarribee youth mental health co design. It is envisaged that a viable youth model for Wollondilly and Wingecarribee would encompass these attributes and include the following features.

A hub and spoke model comprising a one-stop-shop/ youth hub an integrated and youth friendly mental health service to improve the experience for young people seeking help.
