Tender Description
DPTI has the responsibility to undertake a regular cycle of level crossing assessments using ALCAM on all 699 actively operating public road level crossings. The ALCAM is an assessment tool used to identify key potential risks at level crossings and to assist in the prioritisation of crossings for upgrades. The risk model is used to support a decision making process for both road and pedestrian level crossings and to help determine the most cost effective treatments.
This contract is a Lump Sum contract for The Provision of Australian Level Crossing Assessments Model (ALCAM) on Public Access Level Crossings on the SA Rail Network 2017/18
The full extent of Services to be provided by the Contractor is described in these Contract Documents.
In summary, these Services include:
a) Field Surveys as per ALCAM requirements, applicable to AS1742.7-20162.
b) Field data entry into Web LXM on provision of user access to the respective South Australian Network Crossings.
c) Observations raised in respective crossing records in Web LXM.
d) Field Survey photos and Site Sketch, uploaded to respective crossing records in Web LXM.
e) Provision of individual crossing survey data in electronic format.
