Tender Description
The Safety Assurance (SA) Services provider shall support and enable the implementation of appropriate system safety processes across the C&SW program of works.
The SA Services provider must plan and implement a system safety assurance program in accordance with the Sydney Metro Program Safety Assurance Plan and ASA Standard T MU MD 20001 ST System Safety Standard for New or Altered Assets.
The general obligations of the Service Provider include:
* Become familiar, through documentation review and interviews, with the applicable Sydney Metro Delivery Office systems, processes, and standards;
* Become familiar, through documentation review and interviews, with the applicable project-specific Safety Assurance deliverables, both those of the Principal and its Technical Advisors and the relevant delivery Contractors;
* Undertake planning, including preparation and maintenance of documentation for the implementation of the Services;
* Prepare and maintain a Safety Assurance Plan for the C&SW Program;
* Support and enable the implementation of Safety Assurance within projects;
* Monitor Safety Assurance activities in accordance with the C&SW Safety Assurance Plan;
* Prepare the Integrated Safety Argument(s), including coordination and assimilation of contractors works;
* Any other related SA activities as directed by the Principal, or as required achieving the Principal’s Objective.
