Tender Description
The purpose of this Pre-Tender Release Information Pack is to provide the market a high-level overview of the upcoming tender for the Narrabeen Lagoon Multi-Use Trail (NLMUT) Stage 3 Overwater Boardwalk.
It is Councils intention to provide as much information and time as possible to give tenders an opportunity to form appropriate project teams for their tender submission.
Project Description:
Northern Beaches Council is proposing to improve the safety of a small section (approximately 180 metres) of the NLMUT (proposed works). This section is located between Bilarong Reserve and the Deep Creek Bridge and either side of the monument rocks adjacent to Wakehurst Parkway. The proposed works will result in a re-alignment and new section of the NLMUT, and a boardwalk over a small section of the lagoon
Services required will include the following;
* Preparation of pre-construction documentation including CEMP and shop drawings
* Removal and revegetation of existing pedestrian path
* Protection of lagoon environment including sea grass
* Timber socketed piling works
* Sandstone retaining walls and concrete to approach ramps
* Construction of boardwalk including timber subfloor and FRP decking
* Painted steel components including balustrades, barrier and connections
* Minor drainage works
* Use of barge for construction of overwater boardwalk
Full Tender package to be released 29 March 2018.
Tenders close at 2pm on 26 April 2018 and must be fully received by this time.
