GRDC is looking for an audit of GRDC and co-owned apps and other decision support tools. The GRDC is also seeking a brief review of the use of existing decision support tools in Australia and internationally, particularly the grains industry. This will inform GRDC’s investment strategy going forward.
The Grains Research & Development Corporation (GRDC) is looking for a suitably qualified vendor to:
* undertake an audit of GRDC and co-owned decision support tools and apps, detailing their creation date, developer, cost of development, affiliated GRDC project, delivery platform/s, current operating system incompatibilities and maintenance requirements, downloads, analytics on usage to date and estimated industry benefits.
* A brief review of existing best-practice decision support tools in agriculture, particularly in the grains industry looking at industry needs and the specific value proposition that decision support tools/apps provide. The review should include criteria and advice regarding life-cycle management.
GRDC will make all relevant project documentation and their background available to the reviewer, subject to CIC considerations.
The results of the audit will assist GRDC in its development of an investment framework for R, D & E relating to the development and maintenance of decision support tools including apps.
