Bushland Maintenance & Fuel Management

⁠⁠⁠The Yarra Ranges Shire Council invites tenders from suitably experienced and resourced parties for the Provision of Bushland Maintenance & Fuel Management (‘the Services’).

The term for each category is as follows:

Submissions are sought from tenderers suitably experienced in the management and provision of the Services as outlined in the specification.

Tenderers may apply for any component of the services as per the pricing schedule.

Council currently has ten (10) Contractors for Bushland Maintenance and Fuel Management services combined. Council anticipates establishing a panel of up to ten (10) Contractors for Bushland Maintenance and anticipates establishing a panel of between two (2) to four (4) Contractors for Fuel Management services.

Where more than one (1) tenderer is selected for the Services, work will be allocated to selected tenderers according to best value outcomes based on the findings of the evaluation process, however no work is guaranteed under this contract.

Regarding Bushland Maintenance - A detailed program will be provided indicating the budget and services to be completed at each site. Services must be 60% complete by 30th January and 90% complete by 31st May each year. Only 10% of services are to be completed in June unless approved by the Supervisor. This is a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) on which contract performance will be assessed.

Council will adjust the tendered rates as per the methodology prescribed in clause 4.2 of the General Conditions of Contract.

Tender submissions must be received by Tender Closing Date or as otherwise changed by addenda.

Tender submissions received late or by any other means than via the e-tendering portal will not be accepted unless agreed to in writing (via email or letter) by Council’s Procurement Services prior to the tender closing time as per the Conditions of Tender document enclosed.
