Tender Description
KASC 2018 - 01 - Council wishes to engage a freight contractor to provide a regular freight delivery service between Cairns and Kowanyama. The initial period of appointment will be 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years.
The delivery service is to operate weekly all year round. However, tenderers should note that the annual wet season extends from around December to around May each year, and that some roads may be unpassable, or passable only with certain vehicles during this time.
