Expression of Interest - Independent Audit Committee Members (Re-Advertised)

⁠⁠⁠Murray River Council has an Audit Committee that provides Council with independent oversight and monitoring of the Council's audit processes, including the Council's Internal control activities.

Council has an exciting opportunity for three (3) independent members, being an independent Chairperson and two independent members, to join its Audit Committee and is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from people who may be interested in the positions. The positions will be appointed for the term of the Council (until September 2020).

The successful candidates will have detailed knowledge and experience in the operations of a large organisation and an understanding of financial, management, reporting and governance practices. An inquiring mind and the ability to analyse information will assist in carrying out this role.
