Win Crush & Stockpile Gravel on Pit 45

⁠⁠⁠Cloncurry Shire Council is inviting tenders to carry out extensive flood damage repair to roads within the Shire. The work involved is predominately rehabilitating existing pavements using materials quarried from local borrow pits.

The Council's intent is that the work be carried out to a fit for purpose basis however there needs to be some controls in place to ensure an acceptable outcome.

This package is for winning, crushing and stockpiling of Gravel Pit F45. For details on location of pit and scope of works, please refer to Request for Tender document and associated response schedules.

There is a requirement for quality testing of the borrow materials in stockpile in pit to confirm that the development of the pit and the winning of the materials has followed best practice. The Contractor's quality assurance will include grading and Atterberg tests of stockpiled lots.
