The year 2017, marks 25 years since CQUniversity was granted full university status by the Queensland Government.
Even though the University is classified as a ‘young university’ it has a long, proud and distinguished history dating as far back as 1889 when a sub-committee was convened to establish a technical college in Rockhampton.
With the continued expansion of student success, research excellence, social innovation and community engagement firmly in its sights, CQU is now searching for a detailed expression of interest for the supply of electricity from renewable sources.
The initial plan is the implementation of a solar farm to be in our Rockhampton - North Campus providing from 1 to 3 megawatts.
The transaction should be governed by a Power Purchase Agreement.
As part of the selection, the companies should submit a draft(s) of a project(s) and respective cost-benefit analyze.
