Cloncurry Shire Council is pleased to announce tenders are now being sought for T2018-01 Griffith St Upgrade.
The scope of Griffith St Upgrade includes the reseal, rehabilitation and upgrade of varying sections of Griffith St in east Cloncurry. For further information regrding the location of works or the scope of works, please refer to the Request for Tender document and the Contract Drawings.
Works will be divided into the following three sections.
1. Griffith Street (between Brisbane and Railway Street) - pavement and kerb and channel rehabilitation.
2. Griffith Street (between Railway and Miles Streets) - road widening and installation of kerb and channelling.
3. Griffith Street (between Miles and Dutton, Musgrave Streets) - PMB Reseal.
Works are expected commence in early April and be completed within 6 weeks.
A compulsory tender briefing will be held at 11am on 6 February 2018 at Council's administration building on Daintree Street. A site inspection will also be undertaken following the initial briefing.
