Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Regional Co-design Project

⁠⁠⁠Western Victoria PHN will commission organisations in four subregions to co-design with their communities an Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) model of care. Organisations will establish a multidisciplinary project team to undertake a regional AOD co-design project with stakeholders within their communities.

Suppliers will partner with Western Victoria PHN to develop a prioritised model for regional AOD care that best meets the needs of the sub regional context utilising the expertise of consumers, their families, primary care and other stakeholders. The model will include the integration of, or redesign of existing PHN funded services to support a more comprehensive, person centred, needs driven, integrated AOD system.

The recommendations developed in these projects will inform an overarching integrated regional AOD model that meets local need and will guide Western Victoria PHN's broader activities including procurement in the area of AOD.
