Tender Description
Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for the development of FIFA certified synthetic turf playing field and practice pitches at Jensen Park, Clapham Road, Sefton. The scope of works generally includes:
* Removal and disposal of the existing turf and fencing as well as re-positioning of the existing covered grandstand including associated in-ground services.
* Construction and installation of the synthetic sports field and practice pitches to the appropriate International Federation (FIFA), National and State performance standards and local needs, associated civil, earth works and construction a of drainage system to support the synthetic sports field and associated pavements.
* Supply and installation of equipment and infrastructure including concrete paths, fences, goal netting, relaying in-ground services to existing sports lighting and sports lighting to the practice fields.
* Supply and installation of ancillary equipment including goal posts, flags and coaches boxes are also components in this project.
* Periodic Maintenance of the field for three years after installation of the synthetic turf to ensure it passes certification and appropriate warrantees and guarantees as detailed in the project specification separately attached to this document.
* Provision of As- Built Plans, Maintenance Manuals and Warranties.
* A full description of the nature and extent of the services required by Council are set out in Section 3 of the attached Request. Refer to drawings which are separately attached to this document.
