On behalf of the Winton Wetlands Committee of Management (WWCOM), GMR Engineering offers this Contract which provides for the supply of all the necessary materials and undertaking all of the associated construction work to complete the construction of a bike path within the wetlands area.
The path provides a sealed cycle path link (2.5m wide) between the proposed wetlands footbridge and Humphries Lane, an overall length of about 15.5km.
The WWCOM advises that the objective of the Contract is to supply the necessary materials and complete the necessary works for the construction of the Winton Wetlands Indigenous Trail complete with all necessary earthworks, pavement, surfacing, culverts and waterway crossings, landscape and various associated works.
The implementation of this contract shall require quality outcomes and constant vigilance to ensure the continued protection of the environment, heritage, flora, fauna and amenity values, also proper maintenance of public safety and the timely delivery of the finished product in a cost efficient manner.
