Tender Description
To resolve known drainage issues, Cloncurry Shire Council has been progressively upgrading drainage infrastructure in east Cloncurry. As part of this program, Cloncurry Shire Council is now requesting tenders to deliver the next stage of drainage upgrade and improvement works in 2018. 'Eastern Drainage Stage 3' will add to drainage infrastructure already constructed as part of 'Cloncurry Eastern Township Stormwater Mitigation Project Stage 1' and will unlock additional development land and upgrade existing drainage infrastructure.
The scope of Eastern Drainage Stage 3 includes:
* Approximately 19,460 m sq of clearing and grubbing
* Approximately 5,450 m 3 of cut to fill earthworks
* Demolition of existing culvert at Douglas St
* Construction of a new three cell box culvert and approaches at Douglas St
