Council is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and capable contractors to construct the streetscape improvement works at Burgundy Street, Heidelberg Central precinct. The scope of works is generally as depicted in the attached documentation and includes but is not limited to construction activities involving:

* Concrete works
* Footpath Pavements
* Street furniture
* Line Marking and signage
* Drainage works
* Tactile Ground Surface Indicators
* Landscape
* Raising the pedestrian crossing
* Other miscellaneous items

The contractor is to familiarise itself with the site, access, extent, complexity and timing of works required and shall take into account any additional or incidental works not specifically listed.

The contractor is to note that due to budgetary constraints, Council may choose to award all or part of the works or stage the works accordingly. Contractors are encouraged to ensure that they price for the works with margins proportioned accordingly.
