UTS aims to become a leader in Medical Research. Therefore, the Centre for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine was created as a new, priority initiative of UTS Faculty of Science, aiming to become a sustainable, world-leading hub of research excellence, working to achieve transformative outcomes for sufferers of neurological diseases and SCI through employing a novel, trans-disciplinary approach.
Led by Professor Bryce Vissel, the Centre pursues research in the neuroscience of cognition, movement and related neurological diseases. The Centre is divided into various overlapping and complementary research streams, directed to high impact research related to understanding the underlying molecular and cellular mechanisms involved.
