The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is one of Australia’s greatest assets. As Australia’s most attended sports and entertainment stadium, the MCG is a busy venue accommodating major events such as International Cricket, Australian Rules Football, Soccer, Rugby and Concerts as well as hosting a large number of major functions in the surrounding purpose built facilities.

The MCG is on Crown Land in Yarra Park, Jolimont and is held on behalf of the people of Victoria by the MCG Trust. Day to day management and control of the stadium is delegated by the Trust to the Melbourne Cricket Club (the Club), which holds a long term lease of the MCG. The Club invites suitably qualified cleaning organisations to tender for the Venue Presentation and Cleaning Services at the MCG and Yarra Park. The main elements include the core clean (non event day), during event cleaning and the post event clean.

Tenderers must be able to demonstrate:

* Experience in providing cleaning services for similar venues;
* Capacity to provide adequate staffing levels and equipment;
* Quality and AS4801 (or equal) certification;

Mandatory information sessions as well as a cleaning assessment following a typical Domestic or International Cricket Game will be a requirement of this tender. The information session will be held on Thursday 14th December 2017.

A non refundable fee of $3,000 (incl GST) is required to be paid prior to downloading the RFT documentation. Fee and downloading of the tender documents is required by Wednesday 13 December 2017. Tenders Close 3:00pm 12 January 2018.
