Tender Description
The Koondrook Water Treatment Plant is located 25 Km North East of Kerang in Northern Victoria.
The Koondrook WTP has a maximum design flow of 36 L/s and a normal flow of 25 L/s, with a clarifier, filter, balance tank, transfer water pump station, treated water storage, treated water pump station, standpipe and reticulation jacking pump station.
There is a raw water pump station located on the Murray River approximately 70 metres from the WTP.
The works under contract will upgrade all electrical components including cables, cable paths, instruments and switchboards including PLC, SCADA and telemetry hardware with all control aspects. This will provide full automation, remote and local monitoring, with control and alarming; allowing reliable and safe drinking water to be produced and delivered for the Koondrook township.
